Yanjing Lake (Glasses Lake)

It was constructed during the Republic of China era. Comprising two pools shaped like a pair of glasses, hence the name. On the northern side of the lake, a stone cave was built against the mountain with stacked rocks; water from the Zhuoxi Spring cascades through it, creating the “Water Curtain Cave” scenic area. To the southeast of the lake stands the “Jiari Pavilion,” built in 1992, featuring a cross-shaped double-eave roof and Suzhou-style painted decorations.
