Yuhua Xiu

Yuhua Xiu is located on the middle slopes of Xiangshan and was one of the “Twenty-Eight Scenic Spots of Jingyi Garden”. Built in the tenth year of the Qing Dynasty’s Qianlong era (1745), it was burned down by the Anglo-French Allied Forces in 1860. In 1999, the park reconstructed it on the original site according to its former appearance and officially opened it to visitors. Yuhua Xiu is an exquisitely designed garden-within-a-garden, making it an ideal place for a short rest or tea tasting. Due to its open view, it is also the best spot in the park for admiring the red autumn foliage.
